Prepress Techniques covered by ATI include acquiring images from a scanner or digital camera, determining resolution, basic retouching and editing of portraits, color correcting images, and combining images. Some of the retouching techniques include taking glare off of glasses, softening backgrounds, removing dust and scratches, smoothing down fly-away hair, and fixing blemishes.
